No Happiness, No Sorrows

Duration: 1 hour

Location: Open-roof terrace at C&C, Beijing

 

Performers turn their body into a blank canvas on which the participants are invited to write down the things they want to let go.   The participants are invited to share their fear and sorrow. They take bandages to write down sad memories they want to erase or leave behind. Then, they put the bandages on a specific part of the performer's body to which the story is mostly related. In the end, the performers will read the words from the anonymous participants; remove the bandages from their skin and attach them to the balloons. Then, they unleash the balloons with bandages and let the emotions go.
